I made surprise evening fika for J tonight. :) Right-out-of-the-oven fresh vanilla buns, blueberry+raspberry pie with vanilla ice cream and pink lemonade. Such everyday luxury!
The gorgeous cake stands were also birthday presents. Absolutely love them! :)

Yup, I figured I'd use them for something more than souffles (which I didn't like all that much. Am determined to try again though).

I love the idea of making pie in the ramekins. That way, I can make different kinds according to the individual tastes of my family, but I only have to make one batch of dough for the crust. :) Great idea.
ReplyDelete:) It really was a great idea, ha! Being able to use individual combos + the servings were just enough for us to eat = no leftovers to go bad... I made them a little "deeper" than I would a large pie but baked them for the same amount of time. Easy! :)
