These are the brace pants that I got from my little sister yesterday. Ok, baby got them, alright! :) Anyways, today I matched them with a blue onesie and oh I'm in love! :) Maybe this is baby's going home outfit? Totally hooked! Ha!

I myself got this pajama set (other piece is blue+white stripes) in size waaay-to-big, whilst thinking "eventually...". I just LOVE the pattern... reminds me soo much of somthing (a table cloth maybe?) from my own childhood in Stavsjö. I just had to get it and since there were only large sizes left there was little left to do than snatching one of those.

Not only did she make me come out of my hiding and actually do something today but she also gave me more super cute baby clothes :) Baby says "thanks auntie"! ♥

Maybe this can cause my food and cooking inspiration to come back! Would guess so! Coming out in Swedish in a few days and has been out in English for about a year(?) Anyways, new to me. I stumbled across an episode of the tv-show just now - thank goodness! :) And I think heaps (if not all?) recipes are also on his website. Here's what I saw today.

That present
So here's what I gave to 2-month-old Alicia, daughter of a fav couple of mine and J's. I designed and made it myself (pretty basic stuff) and I'm really happy with the outcome! So glad I went to have it done at a proper print shop! I'm starting to think graphic design really is for me :) Imagine working with something one really loves and maybe even turn it into a business... :)

bathroom adjustments
Ha, lots of baby posts now. Getting ready is all! :) Here's how we managed to fit a changing table in our tiny bathroom. The window recess was deep but not deep enough to fit a babycare pad on so J built a kind of fitted shelf to put in front of the window and voila! :) With it comes a lot of well-needed storage space!

So we went to IKEA the other day and now we've got a new pendant for the kitchen table (unsprayed as of yet and maybe we'll keep it this way? Kind of looks light (light) grey with all the white-white around...) and a big chest of drawers in the wardrobe. The drawers take a lot of space but then they give a lot of it too! So definitely worth it. And it's white :) of course.

Did I ever mention I love strawberries?? Boy, do I! I wonder though, how, when I hulled 4 liters of them, there's only 3 liters left when I'm done? Well, now I just need to figure out what to do with them. Cordial, compote, pie, cake... so many options. Already made jam. Maybe we'll just have them as they are, with milk+cream. So yummy! :)

such a productive day yesterday
My last endeavour yesterday was to save some frozen strawberries from last summer. Strawberry jam. Let me put it this way: Had I known it was this simple to make my own jam... well, then I would never have bought a single jar, ever. So much better + without the weird additives. And I love the jars! The two in the first picture are new additions to my collection and from my local grocery store. The others are old jars that I bought with jam and that are now filled with something much better :) Beautiful recycling.

I ordered this book today and I just can't wait for it to arrive! Now I know what to spend this summer doing! :) It's a cookbook about edible goodies that are perfect as gifts. as of yesterday
I've started baking my own bread again (yay). It's been a while due to lack of energy. I'm not sure I have all that much more energy now, but I'm sooo over store-bought that there's just nothing left to do. And I love it. Yesterday morning I got up early and made fresh bread for a (late) brekkie. This morning I made another batch. Crossing my fingers that I can keep it up! Last night we had strawberries with cream. That was just life-changing (as one of my friends would put it) so I had to throw in a picture :)

S U M M E R ♥
Now, it is definitely summer! Absolutely LOVE it! :) This weekend has been a "long weekend" here in Sweden due to two public holidays. From the feast of the ascension last Thursday until today, which is the Swedish National Day. I've made sure to enjoy these 5 gorgeous days off work. Friends, sun, swimming, bbq's, sleeping, movies, shopping... well all things good, except blogging... :) Bit sad to start work again tomorrow but only 5 weeks to go, after that I'm outta there! :) Note to self: Bring summer inside - pick a huge bunch of lupines+buttercups.

final touches
on our new kitchen! Today, finishing the counter top with hardwax oil. It's a massive oak (not properly portrayed in colour...) counter top and we hope that this'll do the trick. Earlier, it was so sensitive to anything and everything that wasn't wiped off immediately. And that's not good enough for a kitchen, hey.

A few weeks ago I turned 25 and yesterday a bunch of lovelies took me out to celebrate... half'n half surprise, one might say :)
I got amazing gifts, bowls (matching what I've already got) + tablecloth from fav Bruka Design. Thank you girls so much! :) I feel spoiled and valued :) Gotta love a girl's night out... xoxo
Oh and "guide to Norrköping"... this is one of the best restaurants in the city.

So I'm back to blogging again. Probably not as much as before, but I think I've given this enough thought and yes, I do want to blog. At some level at least. So here I am. Will try and do my very best. There's a lot going on in my life. Most of all this:

Rhubarb+vanilla parfait
And here it is! The second time I've made this parfait ice cream, and it's just the best recipe. I'll make sure to post it for you. It's a recipe I made out of two other ones, so I kinda guess one would say it's mine :) Oh, and don't you just looove the pink colour?? I dooo!

that time of year...
which holds such an amazing abundance of flowers and sun and wonderfulness. Mum and I picked lilies of the valley yesterday, at the best spot ever. The lovely scent now fills our apartment. Especially the kitchen. Oh. The kitchen which calls for some serious blogging :) All renovated and new. And perfect. Hang in there...!

when you can have flower view?? This is the view out from my parents' living room window. Gorgeous pink-white apple blossom in full bloom. Just amazing.
