as of yesterday

I've started baking my own bread again (yay). It's been a while due to lack of energy. I'm not sure I have all that much more energy now, but I'm sooo over store-bought that there's just nothing left to do. And I love it. Yesterday morning I got up early and made fresh bread for a (late) brekkie. This morning I made another batch. Crossing my fingers that I can keep it up! Last night we had strawberries with cream. That was just life-changing (as one of my friends would put it) so I had to throw in a picture :)

I made freshly baked bread for breakfast this morning. Sooo good! :) A type of rye bread buns, with syrup and raisins. Yum!

Morning of Midsummer's Eve 2010

As mentioned earlier, last weekend was the Midsummer-weekend in Sweden. Here's how we spent the morning of Midsummer's Eve with my side of the family :)

Preparation of brunch picnic indoors at mum+dad's, then filling baskets with goodies and heading down to the lake (1,5 minute walk). We had our brunch in the sun on the lake jetty. We had delish subs+wraps, tea, yoghurt... Such a great morning! :)

This is what we had for breakfast this morning (literally), real homemade American pancakes. So good, and they turned our really nice for being our first try. Not that it's all that hard. I will need to get some real proper maple syrup though, whatever we had in syrup-way was not so good.
