Guide to Norrköping

Ol' man's garden

Today Mum&Dad took me and J out for lunch at "Gubbens Trädgård" (=see title...) A real cozy place, like an oasis in the city - a garden with heaps of flowers and bushes and a fountain and a small second hand shop in one corner... just really my cup of tea! It's actually a café, offering , ice cream, pastries, tea, coffee (=fika) and more, but they also serve a lighter lunch. Thank you mum and dad! :)

Such lovely summer days!

Had a lovely day today, after work. :) Went to Sandviken (40 km from where we live) with J and had delicious ice cream, took a swim, and picked a huge bouquet of lilies of the valley. The lilacs+cow parsley are from my mum! Thank you... :) We finished the day with eating some food in one of our favourite spots. Beautiful view! (Well, in all honesty, we finished the day with cleaning and tidying our entire apartment... hehe)

I'm really trying to enjoy summer and life to the fullest, and loving it! :)

I had to shoot some pictures of my beautiful city, Norrköping. (As I think I happened to promise about 7 months ago...) Spring came and nature exploded! :) Love it! I'm really soaking up every last bit of sunshine I can get a hold of. I'm going to save it for harder days, I say. Experience tells me it doesn't work like that. Unfortunately. Ha!

So anyways, a stroll along the riverside is definitely a hit! :)

GOOOOLD

Yay! My city's basketball team, Norrköping Dolphins, won the Swedish Basketball Championship tonight! :) I was there with J and some friends, witnessing the whole game. I don't really like sports all that much and I've never been to a basketball game before but I liked this. It's easy to like a victory. :) Anyways, here are some pictures of the night:

Spring+evening+sun

Such a lovely spring evening. 7.30pm. I love how the evenings get brighter and brighter. It's as if I can really see the difference from evening to evening. Picture taken from our living room, through our newly cleaned windows. It's like there is no glass, right? :)

I walk past this tree on my way to work. One of the pro's about winter and dark mornings is all these lights around and about. They make life... well, lighter :)

VIP Night

A few days ago I got an invite for a members only - special offers - christmas inspiration-night at design shop VERA Design here in Norrköping, Sweden :) It's on Thursday and to be honest I've got somewhere else I should be but I just rsvp'd and I think I'm going anyways. At least for a little bit. I'm just soo curious to see what they've got and to see the special offers... They've got favourite lables of mine such as Eva Solo, Bruka Design & Himla of Sweden.

Anyone feel like coming with me on this thing? Just let me know asap! :)

Oh, and by the way, I went to a VIP night at Cubus last week as well... I'll show what I got from there later... some time... so much to think about right now.

It hits me now that I should probably post some more nice pictures of Norrköping some day... like, more than of beautiful autumn leaves. The thing is I'll need to shoot those photos first so... I'll get back to you about that! :)
