My own gingerbread cookies

Made from scratch and absolutely delicious. And not even the slightest bit difficult. I should just post the recipe here. It's an old well-tried recipe that my mum has been using for like ever. Would any of you want it? :) Now I've got a large tin of them in the freezer. Ready for Christmas.

Well, we've had a great couple of days in the archipelago! Good company and good... everything :) Pictures are: The cottage we stayed in, evening light, detail 1, the family Swan, old harbour at Oxelösund, J wakeboarding, house at gorgeous location just by a canal, detail 2.

p a u s

While the blog stands still, I do not! :) We took off yesterday and headed out to an island in the archipelago. Specifically the archipelago outside of the Swedish village Oxelösund. Beautiful. The picture is yesterday's sunset :) Outside the window, J and his brothers and cousins are wakeboarding. We'll stay another night and then head back home tomorrow. See you then!

mother-daugher time

This past Friday I had a (very well-needed) day off work. As J had work to do all day, I called mum to check if she was home, then hopped on the first best bus and went "home" to Stavsjö. Once there, we had a nice long brunch and then went out for a long walk. We went to a lake called Virlången, and on the trail along the shore, we found yellow chanterelles. The first ones of the season, and a lot of it, too. Love it! :) Yum! Naturally, a fika followed the walk. Hot tea, blueberry smoothie and also I brought rhubarb semifreddo. Mum loved it (dad too, when he got home from work in the evening). The pictures:

A Royal Wedding

Today is the day of the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria's wedding to her Daniel. A man of the people and now Prince Daniel of Sweden, Duke of Västergötland. Wow. What a fairy tale...! :) Loving all of it! I've been following the festivities in the Swedish capital city Stockholm. The wedding has got it all! Royalties from all over the world, glamour, magic, beautiful dresses, amazing flower arrangements, singing, dancing... and the greatest of these is love. Some pictures:

I had to shoot some pictures of my beautiful city, Norrköping. (As I think I happened to promise about 7 months ago...) Spring came and nature exploded! :) Love it! I'm really soaking up every last bit of sunshine I can get a hold of. I'm going to save it for harder days, I say. Experience tells me it doesn't work like that. Unfortunately. Ha!

So anyways, a stroll along the riverside is definitely a hit! :)

Voddler

You know Spotify? Almost all music, available for free? Legally. Voddler is like Spotify but with movies. I've seen a few movies now, streamed through Voddler, and I can say, I really like it. The only thing is I'd like to see more movies on there. However, the service is very new and probably more and more movies will be added as we go. That's Sweden for you, bebeh! :) A huge DIG IT!

My beautiful home town
