p a u s

While the blog stands still, I do not! :) We took off yesterday and headed out to an island in the archipelago. Specifically the archipelago outside of the Swedish village Oxelösund. Beautiful. The picture is yesterday's sunset :) Outside the window, J and his brothers and cousins are wakeboarding. We'll stay another night and then head back home tomorrow. See you then!

Strawberries!

Yesterday I went strawberry picking with mum&dad. It was the best day, not too hot, not too cold, the strawberries we just perfect. And deliciously sweet. I got myself about 5 liters, they are now in the freezer. At least the 4 liters that were left when I was finally ready to put them in...

mother-daugher time

This past Friday I had a (very well-needed) day off work. As J had work to do all day, I called mum to check if she was home, then hopped on the first best bus and went "home" to Stavsjö. Once there, we had a nice long brunch and then went out for a long walk. We went to a lake called Virlången, and on the trail along the shore, we found yellow chanterelles. The first ones of the season, and a lot of it, too. Love it! :) Yum! Naturally, a fika followed the walk. Hot tea, blueberry smoothie and also I brought rhubarb semifreddo. Mum loved it (dad too, when he got home from work in the evening). The pictures:
Precious mum! :) The chanterelles and the fika.
Gorgeous scenery, hey? :)

Wood Anemone

I picked this year's first wood anemones yesterday! :) (Sounds like such a fancy flower in English... like it!) Right now they are decorating our kitchen table (and fridge at night, to make them last longer, haha!)
Pictures: Me
I found them while being on a picnic with J. We know the most lovely spot with water, a beach and sunshine all day. So we went there, and I, taking my previous note to self very seriously, suggested we bring a picnic as well. Unfortunately, the camera died before I even got one photo so there's no pictures of this fantastic afternoon. But no worries, this will happen again! :)

City Adventure

Take a look at these lovely tulips! From yesterday's adventurous trip to Linköping with my dear friend Annelie. Haha! Honestly, I like that city so much more now. :) I'll show you later what got to come home with me... spring pearls... :)

Lake trip #01

Joel and I took a lovely, well-needed trip to a lake nearby. The weather was so fine, we just couldn't stay inside or in the city even. We only had time to stay for about an hour but it was oh so worth it! Here's some pictures!

Pictures: Mine

There will probably be lots of trips around to lakes and some camping 'n stuff and so now there's a new category: trips'n camping.
