SO looking forward to the 2012 IKEA catalogue!!! :) Within the next few days-weeks it should arrive at my door! :) Wohoo! Supposedly a lot about storage - thank God!

new, new & new

So we went to IKEA the other day and now we've got a new pendant for the kitchen table (unsprayed as of yet and maybe we'll keep it this way? Kind of looks light (light) grey with all the white-white around...) and a big chest of drawers in the wardrobe. The drawers take a lot of space but then they give a lot of it too! So definitely worth it. And it's white :) of course.

And now I have somewhere to put all our cute baby clothes! Perfect! Ahh, can't W A I T! :) And here's how the wardrobe looked before.

I'm so definitely doing this! But I want my kitchen table pendant to be a light, soft, matte grey colour :) Well done IKEA!

Day tripper 2 IKEA

Today I'm going to IKEA with sister & mum... There's always a few things that I want to bring home with me in general... but I was thinking about this one, in particular. I'll just have to ask it.

Much longed for

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! [said in Donald Duck voice] Finally it is here! The new IKEA catalogue! I love when it comes in the mail. It makes me long for rain all day and a hot chocolate (preferably from Gloria Jean's but since being in Sweden I just make my own with O'boy chocolate mix!) - the perfect excuse for spending hours going through the whole thing! :) Here are some things that I liked...

A box on wheels to have beneath the bed! Who wouldn't want to have one of those?

A cabinet in which to keep shoes... and it is even looking nice! HEMNES.

I really like this hallway combination. Especially the metal thing onto which you can attach notes and messages.

A collage of pictures in nice frames that covers an entire wall - a must have!

A nice system of shelves, HYLLIS.

I really like this bench... I'd love to have one in my own bathroom, MOLGER.

Gotta love IKEA!

This is IKEA launching their apartment in a box. Flat-packed. It doesn't get any more IKEA than that.
