Oh, Christmas Tree!

We just(!) finished decorating our Christmas tree! I'm so happy! It turned out just as great as I wanted it to! Notice the tree stand, what do you think? I've seen it in a few places and we decided to have a go! We like it! (Only it took us forever to get the tree down into that thing...) Anyways, colours are strictly gold+red. And green of course... So, there you go! Now I'm off for a nice winter wonderland walk!

This is our bedroom! :) Obviously, more decoration will come as we go... One cannot do everything at once, you know. Like pictures on the walls, curtains (roman shade style), new doors... :)

Marley & Me

A while ago Joel and I had a cozy evening with movie, pizza (the BEST pizza EVER) and snacks. We watched this movie Marley & Me. I absolutely loved it to bits! I totally bawled my eyes out! I love that about a movie. And, I am a total sucker for dogs...

DIG OR DIS #01 - Tea light candle in clear plastic cup

This is SUCH a great idea! I absolutely love how when the whole piece of stearine melts it appears as though there is nothing but a flame in the candle holder. Like in the second & third pictures. Obviously it's more for clear or kind-of-clear candle holders but anyways! :)

They, the kind of candle that is, were hard to find, that's for sure, but I just bought a bunch from Swedish shop & web shop Inredningsboden. So there you go! Now you won't have to look so hard! :) (Unless your one of my international friends... which I know many of you are... sorry. At least you'll know what to look for, right?) Inredningsboden, btw, have real good service and I can really recommend shopping there!

Mood Board #03 Rain

Heard on the weather forecast that it's going to rain in a few days. And that it is going to get colder. I. Really. Don't. Mind. Actually I'm rather looking forward to it! :) Spending time inside with a nice magazine, some good music and a cuppa... Can it get better than that?

Tin candles, tea cup candles... diy and improvise. Fun! Note to self: Make personalized candles. Perfect for a cozy home or as presents. Or for travelling (the tin one). This is precisely my cup of... candle?
